Our Down Dog deck offers 35 animal-inspired yoga poses to delight yogis of all ages.  Each formidable 5 X 7 inch card is constructed of high quality, glossy-finish, 400 gsm cardstock paper. The front of the card depicts a gorgeous watercolor animal image which is accompanied by a positive affirmation statement.  The original watercolor images were painted with tremendous love and care, specifically for this project, by Dutch artist, Michelle Dujardin.  The reverse side of the card contains a photograph of a child in a corresponding yoga pose.  To deepen your practice, the pose names are provided in both English and Sanskrit (the ancient language of yoga).  The back of the cards also contain a dynamic breath suggestion, inviting you to connect body movements with breath.  The Down Dog Deck harnesses our innate fascination with the natural world, and offers a rich and playful way to introduce and enliven your yoga and mindfulness practices.  Seasoned practitioners, novices, and everyone in between, will discover peace and joy as they learn to playfully nestle into the present moment.
