Peaceful Pause introduces a range of products and services designed to introduce children and adults to mindfulness-based practices. We are dedicated to the process of creating kinder communities by helping individuals learn to root themselves in the present moment in order to build emotional intelligence, mind-body awareness, impulse control, and compassionate connection.

Peaceful Pause Classes and Practice Props
Peaceful Pause classes create an opportunity for children, teens, caregivers, and adults to embrace the joy and wonder of mindfulness-based practices. We will help you develop the skills you need to nestle into the present moment. We offer services in within the New London County, with lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of your group. Our classes are thoughtfully and creatively developed to target your holistic wellness objectices and they have the potential to improve emotion regulation and impulse control skills, promote relaxation, as well as build empathy, and positive interpersonal connections. Our practice props are designed to engage young audiences and reinforce mindfulness concepts, helping children find peace as they develop a stronger connection between their mind, body, and breath.
PEACEFUL PAUSE: CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUPS AND GROUP SESSIONS
Our children's classes incorporate elements of yoga, music, art, sensory play, books, and nature-based learning to support children as they learn to cultivate awareness of the present moment. Children ranging in age from toddler to teen can benefit from yoga and mindfulness-based practice programs. Our Peaceful Pause series classes can be tailored to meet the unique needs of your family, playgroup, daycare center, school, hospital, camp, home-school group, mental health agency, or sports team. PEACEFUL PAUSE PRIVATE SESSIONS
If you know a child, teen, or adult who would prefer a personalized skills training experience, you might consider a private session. Individualized mindfulness and yoga classes can help both adults and children develop the mindfulness skills necessary to better regulate their emotions, reduce impulsivity, build empathy, and find a more peaceful existence. Although these private sessions are not designed to replace psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals struggling with clinically significant emotion or behavioral problems, they may serve as an important adjunct to clinical care, by helping people develop relaxation skills through yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and deep breathing practices. Classes offered in-home, at agency-based sites, or in a variety of outdoor locations for nature enthusiasts.

Coming Soon! Animal-inspired yoga card deck. A collaborative international effort with Dutch artist, Michelle DuJardin. Gorgeous watercolor animal paintings, movement and mantras to connect mind, body, and breath. We have also created "Feelings Friends," a sensory-based toy designed to help children learn to befriend and soothe uncomfortable emotions.

A healthy alternative to demonstrate appreciation for your staff and help promote opportunities for self care, celebrate the milestone of a loved one (bachelorette party), or simply relax with a group friends (a nourishing night gazing inward). We can design a 1-2 hour event that incorporates elemnets of mindful movement through yoga postures, guided meditation, breathwork, Reiki assists, sound healing, creative arts expression, inspiring poetry, aromatherapy, and tea. THE PEACEFUL PAUSE STORY
Peaceful Pause is a family business venture that is owned and operated by Kate and Jack Cygler. Kate is a licensed clinical social worker, RYT-200, and ChildLight Yoga and Mindfulness for Children instructor. Kate was trained in Vinyasa yoga at a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School. Kate also holds additional certifications in mindfulness based interventions for children and teens, guided imagery for children, and she holds a Usui Reiki Level 2 certification. She benefits from fifteen years of professional experience in the field of children's mental health. Kate began introducing mindfulness practices to adolescent girls in 2007 when she participated in the development of a dialectical behavior therapy program at a children's residential treatment center. Since that time, she has consistently incorporated mindfulness-based practices into her work with children and families in outpatient therapy. Both as a parent and as a children's health professional, Kate has witnessed the power of mindfulness to help children and families build more peaceful lives. At Peaceful Pause, we are hoping to provide the inspiration and guidance that will motivate you to embark on a life-long journey towards compassionate, present moment awareness.
